Pest Control Specialists in Cambridge Park
Cambridge Park is one of the older residential suburbs in the Penrith area, and the housing stock reflects that.
A large share of homes date from the 1950s through the 1970s, with the timber framing, suspended floors and enclosed subfloors that go with that era. That combination is the highest termite risk profile in Sydney housing, and it is the reason a proper subfloor inspection matters more here than in the newer estates a few kilometres away.
Our pest and termite management Sydney service covers Cambridge Park and the surrounding Penrith suburbs.

Where homes sit on piers with an enclosed subfloor, termites can move from soil to timber without ever being visible at ground level. An inspection that skips the subfloor misses the most likely location entirely.
Homes of this era were frequently under-ventilated underneath, and many have had the situation worsened by later paving or landscaping blocking vents. Damp subfloors are exactly the conditions termites need.
It was normal practice to leave timber offcuts and formwork under the floor at construction. Buried timber in a damp subfloor is effectively a starter colony.
Where original framing, skirtings and window reveals survive, that is untreated timber in the structure.
Sixty years of growth means large root systems and stumps left in the ground after tree removal, among the most common nest sites we find.
Many Cambridge Park homes feature subfloors, timber elements and older stumps, making regular termite inspections especially important. Our inspections comply with Australian Standards AS 3660 and AS 4349.3, covering the subfloor, roof void, interior, exterior and outdoor structures.
Every property requires a treatment that suits its construction. For many Cambridge Park homes, chemical soil barriers provide reliable long-term protection, while baiting and monitoring systems are ideal where barriers aren't practical. We also assess subfloor ventilation and moisture issues, as improving these conditions can significantly reduce the risk of future termite activity.
We treat the pests most commonly found in Cambridge Park homes, including cockroaches, ants, spiders, silverfish, carpet beetles, fleas and wasps. Every treatment is tailored to your property, targeting the source of the infestation for longer-lasting results.
Older homes often have more places for rodents to sneak inside. We inspect roof voids, subfloors, weatherboards, eaves and gaps around older pipework and utility penetrations before carrying out targeted treatments. We also identify entry points and recommend proofing measures to help stop rodents returning.
Birds nesting on roofs or beneath solar panels can quickly become more than just a noisy nuisance. We provide humane bird control, remove nests where permitted, install roof and gutter proofing, and fit durable mesh barriers around solar panels to prevent future nesting without affecting their performance.
Keeping pests under control is much easier than dealing with a major infestation. Our annual and quarterly maintenance plans include scheduled treatments and routine inspections, helping protect your Cambridge Park property throughout the year.

Over 130 reviews and counting, built mostly on word of mouth from happy customers around Cambridge Park.
It takes a few visits to get right, but every single one earns its place. Nothing’s rushed, and it’s all mapped out from the start. Here’s how it plays out:
Ring us or drop through your details and we'll have a yarn about what's going on and what you've been noticing around the place.
One of our techs heads out and gives the property a proper going-over, checking the usual trouble spots. If there's genuinely nothing to treat, we'll say so. We're not in the business of talking people into work they don't need.
Once we've identified the pest, we work out how it's getting in, whether that's roofline gaps, weep holes, garden beds hugging the house too closely, or gaps around pipes and service points. Pinning down the entry point is what makes the treatment actually hold, rather than just knocking back what's visible on the surface.
Instead of grabbing a generic off-the-shelf chemical, we take everything we've found back to base and put together a plan based on your property's layout, terrain and the specific pest involved. Once that's sorted, we come back and carry out treatment that's built for the job at hand.
Once it's done, we'll talk you through what was treated and share a few tips to help stop it coming back. You'll get a written service record for your files, and if the pest returns within the coverage period, we're back out at no extra cost.

Chris and his team are extremely professional, honest and efficient. They have treated our home for more than 6 years and when we had a vermin problem they came promptly to our assistance. We have had their bird proofing on our roof for most of this time and it works extremely well. Chris has a vast and well informed knowledge of all pests and can give you peace of mind with a reasonably priced solution to any problem you may have. Janelle in the office is very polite and helpful. A fabulous team and I could gladly recommend Forensic Pest to anyone.

Excellent, reliable pest management service. Great value for money especially given level of professionalism not always found in other operators. Have been using services for several years and have never let me down in any regard.
Cambridge Park was subdivided and developed well before the large master planned estates that came later to the district.
Cambridge Gardens was originally part of Cambridge Park itself, only becoming its own suburb in 1981. It takes its name from Cambridge Gardens Public School, established a few years earlier in the same area, rather than the two suburbs being named together as part of one original release.
The suburb is within easy reach of the Nepean River corridor, which shapes the local landscape and drainage.
We don’t just stick to Cambridge Park; we’re out treating homes right across the surrounding area too. Our technicians regularly travel across Western Sydney to help homeowners and businesses with reliable pest and bird control.
Wherever you are locally, chances are we’ve already worked on a property just like yours.
Common Questions
It is a risk factor. Termites need moisture, and a damp under-ventilated subfloor provides it. Improving ventilation reduces the conditions they rely on.
A bit of both, really. You can spot the obvious stuff yourself, damp soil, mould, that musty smell, condensation on pipes. Good enough for a rough idea.
But we use moisture meters and thermal imaging to actually measure it properly. That picks up dampness inside timber that looks fine on the surface but isn’t, which is usually where the real problem’s hiding.
Book a visit and let our team take a look before anything else happens. You’ll walk away knowing exactly what’s going on and what it’ll take to fix it.
